The cut bamboo is glued with epoxy and fixed with epoxy. The kuripe is decorated with a string that is impregnated with epoxy resin. The bamboo body is colored with pigment and varnished with shellac. A pleasant curiosity is that the rapé in these blowpipes comes into direct contact with the stone.
The bottom of the kuripe cavity is ground into a U-shape, which prevents the accumulation of slag and helps improve airflow.
